High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ)

HPWJ is normally used for the cleaning of sewer drains by scouring the side of pipes and flushing out residue. With the usage with a truck mounted jetter that utilises hydraulic horsepower to deliver powerful displacement pumps, it is possible to remove tree roots and other solid obstructions. This method can also penetrate long sewer lines and reduce subsequent drain cleaning. Water jetting is environmentally friendly in that it does not produce hazardous water products often found in the manufacturing process. In addition, water jetting uses small amounts of water, which can be recycled using a closed loop system. Water jetting also reduces the release of fumes and contaminants from materials such as fiberglass and asbestos, thereby creating a safer environment for equipment operators.
